Questions about Sports Psychology and Spirit Mind Sports
Sports psychology can help athletes in various ways, such as improving mental toughness, managing performance anxiety, enhancing focus and concentration, setting goals, developing effective pre-game routines, and recovering from injuries. It also assists athletes in coping with pressure, building confidence, and maintaining a positive mindset.
Sports psychology focuses on developing various mental skills, including concentration and focus, imagery and visualization, goal setting, self-confidence, resilience and coping strategies, stress management, and arousal regulation. These skills can help athletes perform at their best and maintain psychological well-being.
Since each athlete is distinctly unique, all game plans are tailored to fit individual goals during the initial session. Therefore, the number of sessions required varies from athlete to athlete. I recommend starting with 3-5 sessions to form a basic grasp of one to two new specific mental performance skills, and how to integrate them into practice and competition. Like some, you can elect to only attend these first few sessions, or as other athletes do, you can transition to an ongoing monthly schedule to master learned skills and integrate new ones. No, sports psychology is not exclusively for elite athletes. It is applicable to athletes at all levels, from beginners to professionals. The principles and techniques of sports psychology can be tailored to meet the needs of athletes in different stages of their sporting journey. It aims to enhance performance and well-being, regardless of the athlete’s skill level.
Hourly session are $100. Package options are offered at a reduced rate and include extra services! Please see “Pricing” below for more information. In circumstances of unusual financial hardship, I may be willing to negotiate a fee adjustment or payment installment plan.

Individual Sessions
- Cost: $100
- Tailored to the individual
- Provides a basic understanding of 1 mental performance skill and strategy for implementation
- Constant utilization of current and scientifically proven mental exercise practice
* Please note that I do not recommend that an athlete only have one session, it can take anywhere from 2-3 to start to simply begin to build an understanding of mental performance skills and begin to utilize them in action.
Package Sessions
- Cost: Ranges between $75-$95 depending on number of sessions
- Tailored to the individual
- Provides a deeper knowledge of mental performance skills- with the option to cover more than 1
- Observation of 1 practice (as allowed by parents, coaches, etc.)
- 24/7 access to texting in questions or accountability checks
- Parent and coach resources
- Provided after 2-3 sessions
- “Crisis” hotline access
- Note this is NOT a substitute for emergency care
- This is a resource for choking during performances or anxiety/stress before or after a performance
- Constant utilization of current and scientifically proven mental exercise practice
Premier Package
8 Week Mental Training Bootcamp
Rate: $75/hour
This package locks in a $75/hour ($600 total) for all 8 sessions in the package, and for all sessions purchased in the future!
Adaptable Stages
4 stages: Developing Mindfulness, Increasing Belief and Confidence, Recognizing and Enhancing Pre-Performance Routines, Imagery Integration
Each week, I will progress through these stages at your athlete's individualized rate, allowing for a foundation of all skills to be built properly.
